This a research programme aimed at making sure that the stakeholders under legal sector are held accountable to ensure that Human Rights are respected. The programme aims to make findings which will influence positive change in the legal sector including all the stakeholders.
The programme will conduct a research to identify gaps in the complaint procedures, accessibility to justice services by the public, effectiveness of court procedures. Will also identify, train and do capacity building of the community justice monitoring and conducting advocacy campaigns on the roles and responsibilities of the legal sector and accountability.
The stakeholders under this programme are Local Government Authority Officials, Elected representatives, courts, Ministry of Justice, media, Police and the public at large.
